Por primera vez, en la Ciudad e Cartagena, se podrá disfrutar de la I edición del Rock Imperium Fest; festival de rock y heavy metal que se celebrará del 24 y 25 de Junio de 2022.
Esta I edición cuenta con grupos de punteros como los ya confirmados Scorpions y Whitesnake a Europe y Tobias Sammet con su proyecto de opera metal ‘Avantasia’. El festival, 43 bandas en total, ya lleva vendidos más de 7.000 abonos, de los 20.000 previstos.

Rock Imperium Fest contará además con una fiesta de presentación, el jueves 22 de Junio, donde se celebrará el solsticio de verano, en una Litha Night, que debido al aforo reducido del recinto, el paseo del puerto de Cartagena, tendrá una entrada independiente, y contará con la banda finesa Moonsorrow y la multiinstrumentista danesa Amalie Bruun con su proyecto Myrkur.
Bajo el cartel se ha tratado de derribar todas las fronteras y reunir lo más granado de cada estilo, desde el progresivo hasta el thrash pasando por el hard rock o el death metal, ofreciendo una buena muestra de lo que está pasando en el panorama del rock y el metal a nivel nacional e internacional sin descuidar a las grandes bandas que han hecho historia y han marcado la senda del rock para siempre.

El festival organizado por Madness Live y el Ayuntamiento de Cartagena, cuenta con patrocinadores institucionales el Instituto de las Industrias Culturales de la Región de Murcia, la Autoridad Portuaria de Cartagena, Instituto de Turismo de la Región de Murcia, y con los patrocinios y colaboraciones de Segurlab, Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Rock Fm y La Opinión.

For the first time, in the city of Cartagena, you can enjoy the First Edition of Rock Imperium Fest; rock and heavy metal festival to be held on 24 and 25 June 2022.
The first edition of the festival features top bands such as Scorpions, Whitesnake, Europe and Tobias Sammet with his operatic metal project ‘Avantasia’. The festival, 43 bands in total, has already sold more than 7,000 tickets, of the 20,000 expected.

Rock Imperium Fest will also have a presentation party on Thursday 22nd June, where the summer solstice will be celebrated in a Litha Night, which due to the reduced capacity of the venue, the Cartagena harbour promenade, will have a separate entrance, and will feature the Finnish band Moonsorrow and the Danish multi-instrumentalist Amalie Bruun with her project Myrkur.
The line-up has tried to break down all frontiers and bring together the best of each style, from progressive to thrash through hard rock and death metal, offering a good sample of what is happening in the rock and metal scene nationally and internationally without neglecting the great bands that have made history and have marked the path of rock forever.
