La edición número 40 del Cartagena Jazz Festival organizado por el Ayuntamiento de Cartagena se celebrará del 4 al 21 de noviembre; y cuya programación se dará a conocer el próximo 29 de septiembre.
El cartel se ha acompañado de unas imágenes audiovisuales, dirigido por Pepo Devesa, y que ha contado con la fotografía e iluminación de Laura Turpin, la interpretación de Aurora Rodríguez, y la voz de Belén Rosa de Gea, donde se destaca: «Decía Julio Cortázar que el jazz es como un pájaro que migra o emigra, o inmigra o transmigra, salta barreras, burla aduanas, algo que corre y se difunde… Después de tantos años, solo tenemos clara una cosa… 40 Cartagena Jazz Festival».

The 40th edition of the Cartagena Jazz Festival organized by the Cartagena City Council will be held from November 4 to 21; and whose programming will be announced on September 29.
