Tu piel

Felices vacaciones y bienvenidos.

Your skin

This summer we enjoy the sun, the beach, the surroundings, but we have to do with security. The sun can be our ally, is essential in the synthesis of vitamin D, but it can be a fierce enemy if you do not take it with caution.

The solar radiations are of three types: lighting,  calorics and ultraviolet , they are producing a pigment synthesis called «melanin» which is the tanning our skin, a reaction to protect it from these ultraviolet radiation.

Ultraviolet radiation have soared in recent times by decreasing the ozone layer, and with them skin cancer. But before it appears,we can suffer very uncomfortable and dangerous problems if we do not put the necessary precautions. The following guidelines are universal, but especially important if you are blond, have very fair skin and light eyes. If there were three factors would be mandatory:

– Do not take the sun in the middle of the day, in the Portús and Spain in general between 12 and 17.00h.

– Apply every hour protection in accordance with our skin, especially if we bathe and although our sunscreen is waterproof.

– Monitor the evolution of any blemish or mole on the skin it, and if it changes with the sun, go immediately to a specialist.

– Do not pretend to have in three days the brown own a whole month, the sun must be taken slowly, especially in the early days.

We are delighted to have you with us, but we want you enjoy El Portus in health and harmony, and remember that it is important to be in the shade, especially children, at certain times of day.

Happy holidays and welcome
